How to accommodate multiple uses for the landscape while still prioritizing a spacious, restorative garden on a not-so-large property? On this project, all elements were thoughtfully planned and sized to provide for ease of use without being over-scaled. Stone paving allows for specific functions, with areas of gravel allowing for larger gatherings while blurring the distinction between hardscape and planting. A Mediterranean spirit permeates the property, including over-mortared stone walls and a focus on gray foliage, succulents and specimen Olive trees.  Work was completed in association with C&C Studio; primary responsibilities: construction detailing and planting design.
